Bookings Terms and Conditions
All bookings require the completion of the appropriate booking form.
All renters, regular and ad hoc, must have their own relevant insurance documentation.
You must vacate your room within 5 minutes after your agreed finish time in order to allow the next group to enter. This may not be possible in every case and My Place needs to be made aware of same prior to accepting the booking.
In the event of more than one booking in the year and ad hoc bookings by the same organisation, a text or email will suffice for a booking prior to a phone enquiry of availability.
All groups and organisation that provide services to children and/or juveniles must have their own child protection policy. In the event of you needing a child protection policy, the manager will assist you.
All renters will abide by whatever payment terms are agreed with My Place.
All renters shall abide by the times and days that the rental is for.
Cancellation of rental giving one week or more notice shall not incur any charge for cancellation. Under one week notice of cancellation shall incur a 50% charge or loss of deposit paid. In the event of cancellation due to illness or other unforeseeable circumstances, manager’s discretion will apply. Any cancellation must happen prior to the event taking place by phone call, text or email, NOT BY OR ON ANY SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM.
If a yearly rental is to be secured, there will be no break in rental charges except for pre-booked holidays or recommencement dates.
All renters will respect the My Place building and any damage caused by them or their clients will be treated according to the My Place damage procedure. A copy of this document can be provided on request.
Renters shall not leave any equipment in storage in My Place. My Place will not accept any responsibility for damage to or theft of any items left behind.
If My Place has space, storage may be agreed for small equipment only. Regular renters will only be allowed AGREED storage. In such cases the renter accepts that the equipment may be used by My Place or by any of its other rentals. The maintenance and repair of same is the responsibility of the owner unless damage is caused by misuse or abuse.
In the event of a one-off event, My Place will charge for any refuse left behind. The charge is €4 per refuse sack.
